Who We Are
“Justice is too important a matter to be left to the judges,
or even to the lawyers; the American people must think about,
discuss, and contribute to the future planning of their courts.”
- Former Chief Justice William Rehnquist
The Council for Court Excellence was founded on a vision of civic engagement. Our community involvement brings together not only lawyers and judges, but also nonprofit leaders, jurors, law students and professors, business executives, government professionals from local and federal agencies, and everyday neighbors in a united effort to strengthen the justice system. We generate grassroots civic engagement that builds a better justice system for all.
