CCE Mission

Founded in 1982, the Council for Court Excellence (CCE) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic organization that envisions a justice system in the District of Columbia that equitably serves its people. CCE identifies and proposes solutions by collaborating with diverse stakeholders to conduct research, advance policy, educate the public, and increase civic engagement.

  • CCE Issues Progress Report on Strategic Plan, Including Board and Staff Diversity

    Our current Strategic Plan calls on CCE to publish certain race equity metrics and share progress on our goals annually. We want to ensure public accountability around our race equity goals. A new January 2024 report presents updates on progress made in 2023, and shares some demographic metrics we are tracking toward our overall diversity goals.
