As the 2025-2026 Open Horizon Civil Justice Fellow, Hardiman works to ensure that civil justice is accessible to individuals without legal representation. Through coordination, research and written advocacy, Hardiman strives to make the D.C. Courts easily navigable and equitable for all. In May 2025, Hardiman received his J.D. from the Howard University School of Law as a J.L. Greene Scholar. While there, he accomplished the Pro Bono Pledge and served as a Community Service Chair for the Howard Public Interest Law Society. Additionally, Hardiman gained valuable experience through his internships with local social justice organizations, as well as the Civil Rights Clinic and the Movement Lawyering Clinic. Hardiman earned his B.A. from the University of Toledo as a Toledo Excel Scholar.
