You're invited to join the Council for Court Excellence on Tuesday, September 30th at 6 PM for our Bench-Bar-Media Dialogue event, Immigration and Justice: The U.S. Legal System Most Americans Never See. Judges decide the fate of many hundreds of thousands of immigrants each year, but these cases aren’t handled in a justice system familiar to most Americans. This Bench-Bar-Media Dialogue will explore U.S. immigration courts, an arm of the Justice Department that is facing a surge of activity – and public attention – in recent months as it contends with a backlog of millions of cases.
