Post-Arrest Legislation Introducted
On June 4, the DC Council introduced the "Post-Arrest Process Clarification Amendment Act of 2013" to improve DC's post-arrest process. The legislation,co-introduced by DC Council Chairman Phil Mendelson and DC Councilmember Tommy Wells, is based on CCE's recommendation in its May 2013 Post-Arrest report.
