The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission will select the next Chief Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from among the following*:

Hon. Judith A. Bartnoff Hon. Erik P. Christian Hon. Robert E. Morin
Hon. Hiram E. Puig-Lugo Hon. Lee F. Satterfield

The Commission invites comments from the public no later than June 9, 2016 (click here for more information or to submit comments). The forum provides an opportunity for the public to hear directly from the judges seeking to become Chief Judge before submitting comments to the Commission. The Council for Court Excellence does not make endorse¬ments. The forum’s co-sponsors have agreed not to make endorsements until after the forum. The Commission took no part in organizing the forum.
