Greetings,
This issue of Court Excellence highlights several events
related to CCE's 25th anniversary. These include
3 public forums and a special retrospective
covering CCE's first twenty-five years that
will be published shortly. We also went
back in time to see what CCE was up to a
quarter of a century ago! The rest of the
issue focuses on 2008 program priorities,
two of which are highlighted in detail,
our juvenile justice project and journalist's
handbook, and a preview of two more public
forums to be convened in 2008, one on issues
related to child custody, the other on offender
reentry. Look for announcements in the early
spring with further details, and enjoy the
holidays.

CCE's Planned Giving
Initiative WASHINGTON -- With 2008 CCE will commence a broad
range of exciting new projects. These projects, as with
those undertaken in the last 25 years, reflect much
about CCE as an organization - which is to say, about
its supporters. The projects are at once practical
approaches to improving the District's courts and
justice system agencies and an affirmation of the
justice system and its capacity to encompass the fullest
expression of law's underlying principles. This takes
commitment and vision. Planned giving to CCE is another
way supporters express that commitment and vision. More... | | |
