DC Business & Courts Project

CCE is conducting an examination of the commercial litigation process in the District of Columbia and is seeking the expert views of commercial litigators, the business community, the courts and other jurisdictions. This qualitative approach matches that of a long standing committee of the American Bar Association, and the other states, such as New York, Maryland, and California, that have previously conducted similar self-examinations of their commercial litigation processes.

Business and the Courts Survey

For purposes of the survey, commercial litigation includes disputes between business entities or business partners over commercial activities or transactions; disputes over technology; real estate disputes between businesses; and other litigation in which business decisions, business practices or business issues are a significant focus.
