Lauren joined the team in September 2009 as Director of Development, guiding the organization’s fundraising and relationship building strategies to create a diversified base of support for the mission of the Council for Court Excellence. In partnership with the staff team, she manages direct mail appeals, grant funding, special events, and other sources of contributed income.

Her career in nonprofit administration began in the arts, where she worked at dance, opera and theatre companies in various capacities involving fundraising, production management, contract management, financial reporting, board relations and strategic planning. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College, where she was awarded a fellowship for her research in statistical analysis in psychology.
